Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team at USI Holdings Corporation. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of large and complex Commercial Lines insurance accounts, providing exceptional client service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of 10-20 large and complex Commercial Lines insurance accounts, providing proactive and personalized support to clients.
  • Provide strong insurance technical expertise to clients and internal stakeholders, including Account Managers and Sales Executives.
  • Responsible for marketing and placement of client Commercial Lines insurance renewals, including preparing client applications, determining carrier options, and analyzing quotes and coverage offerings.
  • Manage client renewal expirations and avoid any lapse in coverage, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to clients.
  • Complex negotiation with carriers on behalf of clients, ensuring optimal coverage and pricing.
  • Process policies, endorsements, and audits as needed, maintaining a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems.
  • Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Represent client interests in internal USI account strategy meetings, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Delegate administrative client tasks to assigned Account Representatives, ensuring efficient and effective account management.
  • Provide account oversight and guidance when acting as a third-layer of account management on largest, most complex accounts.
  • Respond to underwriters' questions in a timely and professional manner, maintaining strong relationships with carriers.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency, with a college degree preferred.
  • Expert understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, including industry designations such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU.
  • Must hold a Property & Casualty insurance license, with knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction.
  • Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
