Job Summary

Comnet Telecom Supply, Inc. is a USA-based manufacturer of custom Fiber Optic and Copper cable assemblies. The company provides a full line of Data Center cabinetry and cable management solutions to the Colocation Data Center industry. We are seeking a qualified Sales Account Manager to join our team and manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success.

The ideal candidate will have a proven sales record as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive, with a strong understanding of sales performance metrics and excellent communication and negotiation skills. The individual will be responsible for maintaining long-term relationships with existing and new customers, overseeing sales in the territory, and working with the Inside Sales Support Team to ensure sales execution.

The successful candidate will have a BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field, and will be proficient in CRM software and have strong people skills. The individual must be attentive to detail, thorough, possess a strong work ethic, and be professional and courteous when working with others.

Compensation packages will be commensurate for qualified and experienced individuals with a proven record of sales success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Function as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Work with the Inside Sales Support Team to ensure sales execution
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
