Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA. As a Patient Services Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient scheduling and registration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks related to patient scheduling, pre-registration, and authorization/verification of benefits in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cultivate working relationships between therapists, practitioners, and patients to ensure seamless communication and care.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, maintaining a positive and respectful demeanor at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with department leadership to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in patient scheduling or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including electronic health records.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in billing or insurance company operations.
