1ST Shift Facility Maintenance Associate

We offer a competitive starting wage of $17.00.

Our work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM until completion of duties.

Position Overview:
As a Facility Maintenance Associate, you will perform general labor tasks to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including the disposal of packaging materials, sweeping, and proper storage of excess materials.
  • Act as a backup for various roles within the production department and provide temporary assistance across multiple departments.
  • Ensure the facility complies with USDA and other food safety regulations.
  • Conduct cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming in various areas of the facility.
  • Empty trash receptacles and clear debris from walkways.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to follow directions and established procedures, as well as respond effectively to instructions.
  • Capability to address routine problems of limited scope and complexity in accordance with established policies.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in operating powered industrial vehicles (PIV), vacuum cleaners, and other equipment.
All employees in warehouse positions must be able to promptly recognize auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns used to alert staff of equipment movement or other safety concerns.
