Maintenance Planner

Job Summary:

Pactiv Evergreen - North America is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a reliability-based maintenance strategy to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of a comprehensive maintenance strategy to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production planners to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules and goals.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, reducing maintenance costs and improving equipment reliability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring that all necessary parts and materials are available when needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing best practices to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Planner will work in a manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Salary: $35 - $42 per hour
