Job Summary

Advanced Psychiatric Health Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team as a full-time mental health professional. Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote positive outcomes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed, utilizing strong assessment and intervention skills to support clients in times of crisis.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health theories, techniques, and best practices, staying current with industry developments and advancements.
  • Attend and participate in clinical meetings and trainings, engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling or a related field, with a strong foundation in mental health theories and practices.
  • Current LCSW license in the state of Florida or current LMHC license in the state of Florida, with a strong commitment to upholding professional standards and ethics.
  • Experience providing mental health counseling services to diverse populations, with a focus on cultural competence and sensitivity.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and presenting issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience/Training in CBT (Insomnia) is a plus, but not required.
