We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at David Lawrence Centers. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our Emergency Services Assessment Center (ESAC) and Mobile Crisis Response Team (MRT).
Key Responsibilities- Directly supervise, train, and orient clinical staff to ensure comprehensive services to adults and children admitted to the Acute Care Program.
- Participate as a member of the DLC Clinical Supervisor Team.
- Develop and manage staffing schedules to ensure integrity and client safety while meeting budget.
- Assist Human Resources with the recruitment of team staff.
- Provide weekly supervision for all assigned staff and perform follow-through on progressive discipline process if needed.
- Support DLC's Acute Care Director with operational duties to ensure a smooth and effective working environment.
- Objectively investigate and follow up on grievances/incidents in a timely manner.
- Participate in initiatives to enhance Acute Care/ESAC/MRT Programs, DLC, and the community as a whole.
- Embracing and actively promoting an inclusive and equitable work environment.
- Collaborate with internal and external providers by maintaining community partnerships and assuring timely client access to referrals and linked services.
- Assist with running multiple and complex reports.
- Participate on committees to improve agency service delivery, quality compliance, and enhanced Acute Care services.
- Oversee completion of chart audits and ensure timely/accurate documentation.
- Monitor insurance authorization for services rendered as necessary.
- Review caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services and follow-up.
- Masters Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Health Care Administration, or related field.
- FL Licensed Clinician (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) strongly preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related environment (mental health, group homes, prison, detention centers, etc.).
- Current and clear Florida Driver's License.
- Prior experience as a supervisor in a comparably demanding environment preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with and relating to a diversity of cultural/social/economic backgrounds.
- Program implementation skills.
- Competency in age-related or specialty issues/developmental needs.
- Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment regarding severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Ability to effectively utilize available resources to ensure a comprehensive, holistic, and integrated treatment approach that supports evidence-based practices.
- Well-founded clinical and risk management skills.
- Flexibility, accessibility, working after hours, including some weekends, to ensure accountability and integrity.
- Exceptional skills in organization (time and information) and communication (written and verbal).
- Microsoft Office 365 skills (including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience strongly preferred.
- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations.
- Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen, and Local Criminal Check.
- Full-time salaried/exempt position.
- Target hours Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
- Flexibility needed for program needs.
- On-call coverage.
