Position Overview:
As a Licensed Professional Therapist at DLC, you will engage in providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Your role will involve:
- Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices.
- Engaging with children, adolescents, and their families to facilitate transformative therapy.
- Maintaining compliance with agency training requirements.
- Identifying and diagnosing using DSM 5-TR criteria.
- Creating and evaluating Treatment Plans.
- Managing a caseload that aligns with client needs and session frequency.
- Enhancing the Children's Outpatient services through community involvement and innovative practices.
- Ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records.
- Collaborating with care coordinators for administrative support.
- Meeting billing expectations as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related discipline.
- A clear and active Florida Therapy License (LMFT/LMHC/LCSW). Candidates who are licensed eligible and on track for licensure within three months may also be considered.
- Compliance with immunization requirements.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
- The ability to pass necessary background checks.
