Position Overview

The Work Ready program offers a holistic suite of employment-focused services to individuals receiving Public Assistance benefits, particularly those requiring assistance in overcoming barriers to achieving self-sufficiency.

This full-time role encompasses a flexible work environment, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all job development initiatives, ensuring effective job matching and customized job development.
  • Maintain thorough tracking and documentation of employment data from all team members.
  • Coordinate services related to clients' employment objectives and suitable job search strategies.
  • Facilitate and nurture relationships with local employers.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations that provide job placement services.
  • Promote program services and participants to employers through various communication methods.
  • Engage TANF clients actively towards achieving employment goals.

Qualifications & Experience

· A bachelor's degree is preferred; relevant experience or specialized training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

· A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, workforce development, placement, or job development is required.

· Supervisory experience of at least 3 years is preferred.

· A vehicle is preferred, with travel required in urban areas.

· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is necessary.
