About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel guest rooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Guest Rooms: Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Lead a Team of Housekeeping Staff: Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are performing at a high level and meeting our standards.
  • Communicate with Guests and Front Desk: Act as a liaison between guests and housekeeping staff to ensure that guest requests are met and that any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Manage Room Status and Cleaning Schedules: Monitor room status and cleaning schedules to ensure that rooms are cleaned and maintained in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct Quality Control Checks: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our housekeeping standards are being met.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure that our hotel is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Customer Service Experience: At least one year of experience in customer service or a related role is required.
  • Housekeeping Supervisory Experience: Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor or in a related role is preferred.
  • Flexibility and Availability: A flexible schedule and ability to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends is required.
