Senior Vice President, Risk Oversight

Position Overview
The Senior Vice President of Risk Oversight will collaborate closely with the Director of Risk Oversight and engage with the Enterprise Issue Management (EIM) and broader Controls teams, along with essential stakeholders throughout the organization. This role is pivotal in advancing and sustaining Citibank's comprehensive issue management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the enterprise-wide issue management program, ensuring thorough root cause analysis, timely remediation, and effective governance.
- Provide critical insights and challenges to facilitate the design and implementation of automated controls and metrics.
- Lead specific project tasks related to business requirements, ensuring efficient execution and high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and present concise reports for review by senior leadership.
- Synthesize complex business information swiftly and effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Proactively identify potential challenges and next steps to prevent delays.
- Utilize critical thinking to assess business issues, articulate problem statements, and guide logical control recommendations.
Qualifications
- Degree from a reputable academic institution.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Ability to quickly grasp and navigate new and complex topics.
- Proficient in managing multiple priorities dynamically.
- Demonstrated experience in guiding deliverables and taking initiative on projects.
- Highly organized with a proven track record of timely, high-quality task completion.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse teams across various regions and cultures.
- Experience in developing control frameworks and risk management strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel, Python, Power Query, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work collaboratively within and across project teams.
