The Balance Sheet & Controls division plays a pivotal role in delivering value to Citigroup Inc. Within this division, the Global Processing Risk Oversight (GPRO) function is tasked with comprehensive oversight of Processing Risk from a first line of defense perspective.

The Vice President of Governance & Analysis is an essential position within the team responsible for managing formal Processing Risk governance, specifically the Global Processing Risk Oversight Committee (GPOC). This team is dedicated to ensuring effective planning and execution of the GPOC, while also supporting various senior governance committees with escalations related to Processing Risk updates. Additionally, the team is responsible for creating impactful analyses and content for senior management reviews and regulatory engagements.

Key Responsibilities

+ Facilitate overall planning, execution, and logistics for the monthly Global Processing Risk Oversight (GPOC) Committee meeting. This includes ensuring timely preparation and publication of discussion themes and agendas, as well as creating polished meeting materials to foster meaningful dialogue and efficient documentation of meeting minutes, key discussion points, and follow-ups.

+ Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of a comprehensive portfolio of critical senior management risk and control reporting deliverables.

+ Assist in the preparation of executive-level summaries of significant risk events, including actual and potential losses, for escalation to senior leadership and management forums.

+ Contribute to the development of impactful Processing Risk-related analyses and presentations for senior leadership and regulatory interactions.

+ Cultivate a strong understanding of Audit, Regulatory, and Self-Identified Issue Management processes, along with relevant reporting systems and dashboards.

+ Quickly grasp key priorities and complex issues for the larger organization, creating clear written presentations and communications.

+ Actively expand the scope of responsibilities through participation in new work efforts arising from evolving senior management requirements.

+ Provide strategic analysis, advice, and reporting to senior leadership. Analyze and assess complex issues, structure potential solutions, and drive effective resolution with stakeholders.

Qualifications

+ A Bachelor's degree is required.

+ 7-10 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Risk & Control, Compliance, Consulting, Chief of Staff, or Business Unit Management roles.

+ Familiarity with Risk and Control Processes.

+ Proven ability to synthesize information, prioritize objectives, and drive results with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to manage a wide range of tasks and issues, often on short notice.

+ Exceptional storytelling and PowerPoint skills, along with strong Excel capabilities.

+ Proficient in translating data and metrics from various constituencies to create clear and concise executive presentation materials.

+ Highly organized and detail-oriented.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ A pragmatic problem solver and forward thinker with independence of thought.

+ Capable of building support across a diverse range of stakeholders through well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills.

+ Able to navigate a large, complex matrix organization; demonstrates flexibility and resilience in the face of setbacks.
