The individual will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the operational effectiveness of the program, which encompasses policies, standards, and execution related to issue identification, root cause analysis, remediation, closure, monitoring, reporting, and escalation. The focus will be on ensuring thorough, consistent, accurate, and timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to a robust enterprise-wide issue management strategy, including effective root cause analysis, gap assessments, timely remediation, and ongoing governance and reporting.

• Facilitate effective issue remediation by providing critical insights and challenges as necessary, aiding in the design and implementation of automated controls and metrics wherever feasible.

• Lead specific project tasks related to business requirements, ensuring timely and efficient execution that results in high-quality deliverables.

• Develop and present concise, impactful presentations for review by senior leadership.

• Quickly assimilate complex business information and synthesize it effectively.

• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

• Proactively anticipate challenges and next steps to mitigate delays or potential issues.

• Apply analytical thinking to evaluate business challenges, articulate concise problem statements, and guide the development of logical, pragmatic control recommendations and resolutions.

Qualifications

• A degree from a prestigious academic institution.

• 6-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services sector.

• Ability to rapidly learn and comprehend new and complex subjects.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities dynamically.

• Proven experience in guiding deliverables and recommendations, demonstrating initiative in projects or team assignments.

• Highly organized, with a capacity to keep team members focused and on task.

• A history of successfully completing assigned tasks in a timely and high-quality manner.

• Capable of driving outcomes independently while effectively escalating issues as they arise.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues across diverse business units, regions, and cultures.

• Experience in developing control frameworks, risk frameworks, and controls across business processes or technology, ideally in a consulting or strategic capacity.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including Python and Power Query, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within and across project teams, functional areas, and business units.
