Senior Vice President, Enterprise Issue Oversight

Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Enterprise Issue Oversight will report directly to the Director of Issue Management and will collaborate closely with the Enterprise Issue Management (EIM) team and other key stakeholders throughout the organization. This role is essential in driving the enhancement and sustainability of Citibank's comprehensive issue management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Vice President will be instrumental in supporting initiatives aimed at refining the ongoing operations of the issue management program. This includes establishing policies, standards, and practices related to issue identification, root cause analysis, remediation, closure, monitoring, reporting, and escalation to ensure effective and timely resolution of issues.
- Contribute to a robust enterprise-wide issue management program, focusing on thorough root cause analysis, gap identification, timely remediation, and effective governance and reporting.
- Facilitate effective issue remediation by providing critical insights and challenges when necessary, to aid in the design and implementation of automated controls and metrics.
- Lead specific project tasks related to business requirements, ensuring timely execution and high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and present concise presentations for review by senior leadership.
- Quickly assimilate complex business information and synthesize it efficiently.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Proactively anticipate challenges and next steps to mitigate potential delays.
- Apply analytical thinking to evaluate business challenges, articulating problem statements clearly and guiding the development of practical control recommendations and issue resolutions.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a degree from a prestigious academic institution and have 6-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp new and complex topics, manage multiple priorities effectively, and take initiative on projects. Strong organizational skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time are essential.
Additionally, candidates should exhibit excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues across diverse business units and cultures. Experience in developing control frameworks and risk management strategies is highly desirable, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
This role requires a collaborative mindset, enabling effective teamwork across various project teams and functional areas.
