Position Overview
As a Client Relationship Banker, you will deliver exceptional service by executing standard banking transactions while fostering strong customer connections and a comprehensive understanding of their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
Through effective relationship management, you will recognize and propose the most suitable personal and business financial products and services, while also guiding clients on alternative and convenient transaction methods.

Team members in the Client Relationship Banker role will operate within a universal banking framework to support clients with a diverse range of requirements.

Impactful Contributions
- Address the transactional demands of the banking center and other business lines, while uncovering opportunities to enhance customer relationships.
- Open and manage moderate to complex consumer and basic small business deposit accounts, delivering appropriate solutions for effective cash flow management.
- Collaborate in a team-oriented environment with regular interactions with colleagues and clients.
- Limited origination of straightforward consumer lending products such as personal loans and credit cards.
- Educate clients on various banking channels, including online and mobile banking, interactive tellers, and full-service ATMs that offer convenience and value.

Performance Goals
- Achieve or surpass individual sales and referral targets, tracked through a personal sales and referral scorecard.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to proper balancing protocols.

Knowledge and Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, fees, policies, and current offers to assist clients with suitable consumer or business product recommendations.
- Explore clients' financial needs and suggest additional bank services, referring them to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations, staying informed about changes in regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, and Bank Security.

Community Engagement
- Create a positive impact in the communities served by participating in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities and financial literacy programs.

Candidate Profile
- High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
- Previous banking or demonstrated sales experience in business, retail, or other sectors preferred.
- At least 1 year of cash handling experience in a banking or retail setting preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with consumers and small businesses in a structured, goal-oriented environment preferred.

Skills and Attributes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues and cultivate client relationships even in challenging situations.

This position does not require S.A.F.E. registration at the time of employment.
