Job Summary

Civista Bank is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Personal Banker II to join our team. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, providing exceptional customer service, and identifying opportunities to expand our banking relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing personalized solutions to meet those needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our banking products and services, including deposit and lending products, to effectively recommend and sell to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Account Management: Manage customer accounts, including opening new accounts, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to expand our banking relationships, selling and cross-selling our products and services to customers.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of previous banking experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Above-average knowledge of banking products and services, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment: Work involves sitting for long periods, with frequent interruptions and distractions.
  • Physical Demands: Work involves lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs, with occasional travel to attend meetings and training sessions.
