Job Description

As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining a growing portfolio of customer accounts for our client, a national leader in food preservation and food safety technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at national food and beverage companies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including troubleshooting and project execution.
  • Report directly to sales leadership and company founders, with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Prior experience selling functional ingredients in a B2B environment is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and drive sales success.
  • Technical expertise or a science-related degree is a strong asset.
  • Experience in managing a sales pipeline, setting milestones, and tracking key performance metrics.
  • Ability to travel 20-40% of the time, with higher travel frequency expected in the first few months.
