Job Summary



At Kohler, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Business Partner to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting our business units by partnering with leaders to link human resources activities to the success and strength of the organization.



Key Responsibilities



  • HR Business Partnering

Build trusted relationships with business unit leaders to provide day-to-day and strategic HR support focused on recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations, and associate retention strategies.



Recruitment and Selection

Manage recruitment and selection process in partnership with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition, inclusive of position description review, intake discussions, participation in interview panels, and pre/onboarding new hires.



HR Support

Provide guidance and support to leaders and associates on various HR-related matters.



HR Metrics and Analysis

Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify strengths and areas for improvement; present findings to leadership and develop action plans accordingly.



HR Process Execution

Execute upon HR processes to ensure a smooth associate experience for all associates through the associate lifecycle.



Compliance and Risk Management

May serve as process lead for such things as investigations, accommodations, and leaves to ensure compliance across the entire organization.



Accountability and Continuous Improvement

Work independently and display accountability by executing all tasks in a timely manner with great accuracy.



Process Improvement

Seek opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the overall associate experience.



Requirements



  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred.



Experience

Minimum of five years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR business partnering. Experience working in a global, matrix work environment is preferred.



Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.



Ability

Ability to challenge the status quo and drive results in a fast-paced environment.



Confidentiality

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.



Organizational Skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.



HRIS and Software

Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software. Current or prior experience with SAP and WorkDay is a plus.



HR Certification

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
