Job Title: VP of Sales

The VP of Sales will lead key sales functions to drive sales force productivity and ensure effective collaboration between customer support, plant leadership, sales, and account management teams. This role oversees multiple manufacturing plants, products, and organizations to leverage all assets and achieve market leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embody and drive the OBE vision, strategy, and Commercial Excellence framework in daily and strategic business activities
  • Build strong relationships with senior and mid-management stakeholders across multiple plants and organizations
  • Collaborate with colleagues on cross-region and business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on competitive landscape and market trends
  • Effectively communicate the company's value proposition
  • Establish sales objectives and develop annual sales quotas for the region
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by analyzing supply and demand, market trends, and competitors
  • Recruit, select, and onboard sales staff
  • Develop a high-performing team through goal-setting, evaluation, training, feedback, and coaching
  • Work with Sales Managers, Sales Reps, Plant GMs, Operations, and other critical functional teams to implement targeted sales strategies
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure high-level customer service
  • Interface with technical support to resolve issues impacting partners
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams and foster a culture of continuous process improvement
  • Provide reports and internal intelligence to the sales and marketing organization
  • Analyze Sales Cloud CRM pipeline and MicroStrategy analytics to deliver periodic reporting and key business insights
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, plus 5+ years of progressive management experience in business, finance, sales, and/or operations
  • Experience in building products and manufacturing; building façade/curtain wall projects and glass or construction industry is a plus
  • Strong relationships and communication skills with customers, suppliers, distributors, and commercial contacts
  • Travel requirements: 40%+
  • Effective communicator with logical, organized verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Microsoft Office 360, SAP, CRM, and business analytics working knowledge
