POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role in executing HR functions at a professional level, collaborating closely with the Human Resources Manager to support the operational needs of AGC Multi Material America, Inc. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities across key HR domains, including benefits management, employee engagement, training and development, performance evaluation, onboarding processes, policy enforcement, recruitment, affirmative action initiatives, and compliance with employment legislation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the administration of diverse human resource plans and procedures for all personnel; assist in crafting and implementing personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain the employee handbook along with the policies and procedures manual.
  • Contribute to the establishment of departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Manage the compensation framework; oversee the performance evaluation process and make necessary adjustments.
  • Handle benefits administration, including claims resolution, reporting changes, approving invoices, and communicating benefits information to staff.
  • Develop and sustain the affirmative action program; file necessary reports and maintain records to comply with EEO regulations.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all levels of personnel, including students and temporary staff; facilitate new employee orientations; monitor career development programs; and manage job advertisements.
  • Provide employee relations support, including counseling, outplacement services, and exit interviews.
  • Participate in administrative meetings and attend relevant seminars and workshops.
  • Maintain organizational charts and the employee directory.
  • Assist in evaluating departmental reports, decisions, and outcomes in relation to established objectives; recommend new strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery.
  • Maintain human resource information system records and generate reports from the database.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate competencies in communication, consultation, ethical practice, cultural awareness, HR expertise, and relationship management.
  • Act as a mentor and coach for other roles within the organization.

  • A bachelor's degree coupled with three to five years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within a manufacturing context, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
COMPENSATION
$55,000 - $60,000
