Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a Transportation Systems Engineer to collaborate with a dynamic team on intricate transportation initiatives. Our transportation division prioritizes end-user needs by envisioning solutions, crafting designs, building consensus, and developing infrastructure that addresses client requirements while considering future demands. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a team and independently to learn, assess, and apply engineering principles, standards, and criteria.
  • Assist in conducting studies, field assessments, and site evaluations.
  • Support the preparation of traffic operation analyses, signal timing plans, impact assessments, and transportation planning studies.
  • Utilize various modeling tools for traffic analysis (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM, HCS) across diverse conditions at intersections, arterial corridors, and freeway segments.
  • Assist in performing road safety evaluations, corridor studies, signal warrant analyses, speed assessments, and safety reviews.
  • Contribute to the design of work zone traffic control plans, signal design plans, and signage and marking design plans.
  • Leverage transportation databases and GIS tools for the analysis of transportation systems.
  • Develop reports and supporting documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited engineering program in a relevant discipline.
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of office software (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Preferred proficiency in VISSIM and Synchro.
  • Experience with GIS and database management is a plus.
