Financial Operations Controller

We are currently supporting CiresiMorek in their search for a Corporate Controller. The ideal candidate will oversee the strategic planning, direction, and management of financial and accounting functions, including the month-end closing process, general ledger maintenance, and financial audits. This role requires collaboration with management across various facilities to enhance profitability and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate precise monthly forecasts and deliver essential financial analyses.
  • Coordinate, execute, and/or oversee plant audit processes involving internal, governmental, and third-party entities.
  • Establish and enforce accounting control protocols for the plant, ensuring data integrity and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and corporate policies.
  • Maintain and optimize information systems and processes to support operational and financial data needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on accounts payable and receivable, customer billing, and office procurement.
  • Oversee and conduct physical inventory assessments of assets and plant supplies.
  • Lead initiatives to identify productivity enhancements along with corresponding financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements, establishing and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Manage capital project planning, accounting, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively guiding others towards achieving objectives.
