Position Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Custodial Operations Lead to oversee our service delivery for a key government contract. This role involves managing operations at multiple sites and ensuring the effective execution of custodial and maintenance services.
The Assistant Project Manager will lead a team of professionals dedicated to providing top-notch facilities maintenance, including both scheduled and unscheduled tasks. This position is responsible for supervising custodial services and managing the custodial workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction, ensuring the successful execution of all contract-related activities.
- Oversee custodial operations, including specialty cleaning and compliance with service deliverables.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor service quality and adherence to operational standards.
- Prepare financial forecasts and manage the contract to meet budgetary goals.
- Supervise a team of custodial and technical staff, ensuring a well-trained and efficient workforce.
- Manage the daily operations of the contract, including maintenance schedules and subcontractor administration.
- Evaluate project performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality control standards.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance or custodial services.
- Proven ability to manage complex operations and lead diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with various organizational levels.
- Experience with financial management and operational planning.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and regulatory compliance standards.
Physical Requirements:
This role may require occasional lifting and moving of equipment, as well as the ability to navigate various work environments.
