We are currently engaged in a search for a Corporate Controller for our client, a prominent organization in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will take charge of overseeing, directing, and managing all financial and accounting functions, which include month-end closing processes, general ledger maintenance, and conducting financial audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate precise monthly forecasts and deliver essential financial analyses.
  • Oversee, execute, and/or manage plant audit activities involving internal, governmental, and/or external parties.
  • Establish and enforce accounting control procedures within the plant, ensuring data reliability and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and corporate policies.
  • Ensure that information systems and processes are effectively maintained to support operational and financial data needs.
  • Provide expert guidance for accounts payable and receivable, customer invoicing, and consolidated office purchases.
  • Coordinate and execute physical inventories of plant assets and materials.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, along with associated financial analysis and reporting.
  • Manage internal and external audit requirements, ensuring that internal controls are properly established and adhered to.
  • Prepare capital project documentation, manage project accounting, and conduct post-project evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while also guiding others towards achieving objectives.
