Position Overview

DCS Corp is a renowned employee-owned organization recognized for its agile and effective development of technological solutions tailored for the U.S. Defense, Aerospace, Human Factors, and Security sectors. We are currently in search of a proactive, collaborative, and customer-centric Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to our U.S. Air Force client's Life Support System Scientific Test Analysis and Qualification (LSS STAQ) Lab.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and nurture relationships with clients while participating in engineering discussions to shape future testing initiatives.

Formulate comprehensive test plans and secure lab test agreements in alignment with customer and Lab Manager approvals prior to initiating any testing.

Design and uphold a LabVIEW testing interface along with a data acquisition system.

Develop and maintain various data analysis tools to streamline post-test data evaluation and visualization.

Oversee lab electrical systems, which includes tasks such as installing new wiring, establishing electrical connections, and performing soldering work.

Create detailed drawings for lab equipment and tools utilizing 3D CAD software, specifically SOLIDWORKS.

Prepare client updates, test plans, and test reports that adhere to agreed deadlines and technical specifications.

Lead all project activities, ensuring readiness of equipment, calibration, documentation, setup, execution, and reporting are meticulously managed.

Ensure that testing methodologies, work instructions, and engineering standards employed are up-to-date and applicable.

Essential Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of client requirements, U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (preferably in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering) coupled with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Proven experience in creating and adhering to test plans that meet military testing standards.

Familiarity with LabVIEW and Python programming languages.

Experience in developing software solutions to interface with diverse hardware components.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SOLIDWORKS.

Experience with statistical analysis software such as MatLab, JMP, and R.

Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics.

Experience in soldering electronic components.
