  • Support the design, measurement, auditing, and enhancement of Parker Hannifin's supplier quality processes to meet customer expectations.
  • Document and uphold supplier quality procedures and conduct audits to ensure adherence to internal standards.
  • Engage in internal activities to support major customer and third-party certification initiatives.
  • Lead the supplier frozen planning review board.
  • Coordinate Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) with suppliers to ensure that all essential product quality requirements for purchased materials are comprehended, communicated, and fulfilled efficiently.
  • Follow up to ensure resolution of identified issues and collaborate with inspection teams to determine suitable inspection methods while addressing supplier nonconformities.
  • Champion the Zero-Defect Approach with suppliers.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in quality assurance or manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of industry, governmental, and international quality system standards applicable to an industrial setting, as well as an understanding of manufacturing processes and associated controls.

Candidates must hold ASQ Quality Engineer or Quality Auditor Certification or an equivalent lead auditor certification, or demonstrate the ability to obtain such certification within a year.

Experience with APQP tools, including Control Plans, FMEAs, and PPAP, along with the capacity to effectively communicate advanced quality concepts, plans, and technical information to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels is essential.

Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., control charts, capability analysis) and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Pareto analysis, Cause & Effect, Root Cause Analysis) is required.

The candidate must be adept in using personal computers and general software applications (Microsoft Office), possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative team environment as a leader, facilitator, or individual contributor.
