Human Resources Office Management Specialist

V2X is looking for a dedicated professional to deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The selected candidate will engage in a variety of functions to support the agency's Talent Acquisition Office, focusing on external recruitment, hiring initiatives, marketing events, and the overall execution of the agency's talent acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities- The candidate will provide essential Office Manager / Staff Officer Support services to the NGA/Talent Acquisition Office, facilitating the completion of tasks and responsibilities in the outlined functional areas.
- Specific Duties Include:
- Delivering general administrative assistance to the Talent Acquisition Office personnel (less than 40% of their time).
- Coordinating, gathering, screening, and distributing HR materials in line with account management and pipeline management processes.
- Utilizing NGA systems to aid in recruitment and hiring efforts.
- Overseeing the content of the Talent Acquisition website, including the posting and updating of recruitment and hiring information.
- Maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, and guidance as directed by the government.
- Planning and integrating hiring processes and strategies into mission and career service roles and responsibilities.
- Processing and managing external applications while coordinating with NGA Recruiting, hiring managers, and applicants to facilitate the external hiring process.
- Ensuring adherence to established agency processes, including fair and consistent human capital procedures and practices.
- Supporting current and future position requirements to ensure recruitment efforts are focused and timely, producing high-quality candidate pools.
- Scheduling and participating in necessary engagement meetings, working groups, town halls, and other events to support the Talent Acquisition Office.
- Preparing, editing, and modifying white papers, briefings, reports, and other documentation.
- Education / Certifications: One year of related experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Required Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience as a Staff Officer or Office Manager (as detailed above).
- A minimum of 12 months of demonstrated experience within the Intelligence Community.
- A minimum of 24 months of demonstrated experience using SharePoint and electronic publishing applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Desired Experience:
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Familiarity with NGA hardware/software tools (e.g., SharePoint, People Soft, MS Outlook Macros, etc.).
- Skills & Technology Used:
- Proficient in PC computer platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Working Environment:
- The work is typically conducted in an office setting and at client site locations, necessitating proper safety precautions.
