DESCRIPTION: New Virginia Majority (NVM) stands at the forefront of civic engagement in Virginia, dedicated to mobilizing and organizing individuals from diverse backgrounds throughout the state. Our comprehensive approach to community organizing includes extensive voter outreach, ongoing community campaigns, leadership development, and advocacy efforts. We are currently looking to expand our team with passionate and skilled individuals committed to driving social change.

NVM is seeking Voter Outreach Specialists for our political voter outreach initiatives. Team members will collaborate statewide to raise awareness about candidates endorsed by NVM and provide voters with essential voting information. Opportunities are available across various regions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in direct conversations with voters via phone, text, and in-person.
  • Submitting accurate and complete data.
  • Supporting the Regional Field Director in achieving program objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technological tools.
  • Strong communication skills across diverse communities.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of independent work.
  • Flexibility to work long and irregular hours.
  • Alignment with NVM's mission and values.

COMPENSATION: This is a seasonal role with both part-time and full-time options available. Voter Outreach Specialists will receive compensation of $20 per hour.
