ABOUT US: New Virginia Majority (NVM) stands as Virginia's foremost civic engagement organization, dedicated to mobilizing and organizing individuals from diverse backgrounds throughout the state. Our comprehensive approach to community organizing encompasses extensive voter outreach, ongoing advocacy, and intensive leadership development.

ROLE SUMMARY: NVM is expanding its workforce and is in search of passionate and skilled individuals committed to fostering social change. As part of our 2024 political voter outreach initiative, you will join a statewide team focused on raising awareness about endorsed candidates and equipping voters with essential voting information.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage in direct conversations with voters via phone, text, and in-person interactions.
  • Ensure the submission of accurate and complete data.
  • Support the Regional Field Director in achieving program objectives.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure.
  • Eagerness to learn new technological tools and resolve technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills across diverse perspectives.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of independent work.
  • Willingness to work flexible and extended hours.
  • Alignment with NVM's mission and values.

COMPENSATION: This is a seasonal role with both part-time and full-time opportunities available. Compensation is set at $20 per hour.
