Job Title: Sales Engineer

Mitel is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in the Eastern US market. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership throughout the sales process for assigned opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical designs, including analysis and configuration that meet complex business partner and customer requirements
  • Provide in-person and web-based demonstrations for prospective customers and partners
  • Answer product feature, licensing, and functionality questions
  • Develop and maintain Subject Matter Expert level of knowledge in 1-2 solutions focus areas
  • Provide direct support for Territory Account Managers within the Region
  • Provide support for RFP responses
  • Ability to travel to locations, including overnight travel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; or high school diploma + relevant experience
  • Experience in Pre-Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Mitel Solutions preferred, other Cloud and UC solutions and technologies a plus
  • Strong knowledge of VoIP solutions, standards, and protocols required
  • Strong knowledge of contact centers and CX solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Public Cloud Environments (AWS, Oracle, and Azure) a plus
  • Background with Virtualization Technologies and Data Center Architectures
  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies (e.g. NLP, Generative AI, chatbots) and solutions (e.g. Talkative) a plus
  • Experience selling into Mitel's focused verticals (SLED, Hospitality, Healthcare, Finance) a plus
  • Familiarity with Mobility and Video applications (Android, Apple, Polycom, Cisco, Microsoft) a plus
  • Networking skills including protocol and compliance knowledge required
  • Certifications (GCP, AWS, CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CCIE) a plus
  • Network Security knowledge a plus (CCSP, CISSP)
