Position Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will collaborate with your team to efficiently utilize departmental resources, aiming to surpass service billable hours targets while ensuring prompt machine turnaround and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair various types of electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Prepare and review parts and equipment for return to stock condition.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers, colleagues, and sales representatives.
  • Perform data entry for service orders, machine maintenance, service notes/reports, and shipping details.
  • Maintain up-to-date information in all software systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer documentation and tax-related information.
  • Quote Preventative Maintenance agreements and Field Service options.
  • Assist in training customers, sales representatives, and new employees on machine maintenance.
  • Manage and monitor support cases using Salesforce.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a technical field and two years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical domains.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 35%, including potential international travel.
  • Team-oriented with the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Valid Driver's License and Passport are required.
