Job Overview

Emerge is seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our regional sales efforts in New England and Eastern Canada. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in this strategic territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets for RF/Microwave and fiber optic connectors, cables, cable assemblies, components, antennas, and other products.
  • Territory Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the territory, identify new business opportunities, and build relationships with key customers.
  • Account Development: Create and execute account penetration plans to expand sales of new products to new customers and foster growth in existing markets.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within the territory to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Product Design-in: Work closely with customers to design-in new products and ensure we are a valued resource for their current and future applications.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Inside Sales personnel, management, administrative staff, and vendors to support customer needs and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of RF/Microwave and fiber optic products and market segments.
  • Customer Relationships: Established relationships with customers in the territory.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related field, and at least 5 years of prior RF/Microwave industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Travel and Communication: Ability to travel a minimum of 50% and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Export Controls: Familiarity with Export Controls is a plus.
  • Business Development: Successful sales/business development growth history with demonstrated ability to identify and close opportunities.
