Job Description

At System One, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for planning and designing manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and design manufacturing equipment and processes to meet safety standards and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure equipment meets safety standards and identify necessary parts, equipment, and tools for manufacturing goals.
  • Develop plans for short- and long-term efficiency improvements and present new equipment, products, and processes to leadership.
  • Lead key improvement projects, automate manual processes where possible, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, mentor junior engineers and technicians, and apply mechanical and process design knowledge in manufacturing.
  • Manage multiple projects independently and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Understand lean manufacturing systems and lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Engineering/Continuous Improvement leadership role in a multi-plant environment desired.
  • 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in a multi-plant environment and ability to travel required.
