Project Engineer Role

At System One, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and managing projects to improve manufacturing efficiency and capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute projects to enhance manufacturing operations
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing processes to improve efficiency
• Conduct ROI analyses to assess project feasibility
• Oversee project execution with internal and external teams
• Design custom equipment using CAD software (AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks)
• Ensure project success by setting goals, budgets, timelines, and tracking progress
• Develop automation projects with external partners
• Coordinate design, purchase, and installation of machinery and equipment
• Maintain relationships with vendors to keep equipment updated
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards
• Foster teamwork across plants and business units to drive improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years experience in Manufacturing Engineering or similar role
• Experience with continuous flow manufacturing, standard work, and pull systems highly desirable
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks
• Familiarity with PLC and HMI programming, support and troubleshooting
