Client Support Specialist

Role Overview:

The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Sales Manager with the management of key accounts and administrative tasks. This position collaborates closely with Business Development Managers to ensure a seamless transition for B/C level clients post-sale. Key responsibilities include proactive client engagement, daily management of support inquiries, lead follow-up, needs assessment, proposal development, and facilitating client kick-off meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture business relationships with existing and prospective clients to secure new service agreements and renewals.
  • Manage a portfolio of over 200 customer accounts effectively.
  • Conduct phone outreach, schedule on-site visits, and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Prepare clear and compelling written proposals and quotations for clients.
  • Generate, update, and distribute Customer Performance Reports.
  • Revise and create contracts as necessary.
  • Provide management with recommendations during contract renewal discussions to strategize actions such as escalation, termination, or scope modification.
  • Communicate significant sales opportunities to the appropriate sales team members.
  • Ensure all client needs are met in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Address and escalate client requests, needs, and issues to the relevant staff or management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive resource of information regarding products, vendors, subcontractors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and marketing events as required.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer information and updates in CRM and Customer Management systems.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required; a four-year college degree or five to eight years of experience in a sales environment is preferred. Prior experience in the HVAC sector is essential.
