The Service Coordinator 1 is a key role within the Carolina CAT team, responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate service work orders, ensuring timely completion and high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Safety Department to maintain compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding scheduling, quoting, and repair of equipment.
- Process technician labor hours and issue purchase orders to vendors.
- Manage Concur Expense Accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with the Parts Department to provide exceptional product support to customers.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as needed and other tasks assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience in a similar industry.
- Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing business demands.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license.
The Service Coordinator 1 will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, equipment, and varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a positive attitude in a team-oriented setting.
