Security Supervisor

Location: Remote

We are seeking a dedicated Asset Protection Supervisor to oversee our security operations. The Security Supervisor will manage daily security functions, ensuring the safety of our assets and personnel. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders during incidents and will be part of a proactive security team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of security professionals, focusing on recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to enhance security performance.
  • Oversee campus security measures, including alarm systems, access control, and surveillance operations.
  • Assist in daily security management tasks as directed by senior security leadership.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential threats.
  • Act as the primary contact for emergency responders during critical incidents.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of security communications and incidents.
  • Handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Support security initiatives and investigations as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security and safety concerns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry professionals.
  • Continuously enhance business continuity plans for effective crisis recovery.
  • Facilitate training programs to prepare staff for emergency situations.
  • Ensure compliance with documented security protocols and responsibilities.
  • Work closely with site leadership to resolve security-related challenges.
  • Engage with the global security team to share best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a security role with a strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a security management capacity.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and make informed decisions.
  • Strong multitasking skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with security technology and access management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools.
  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules.
  • Experience in workforce management is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of security practices and risk management strategies.
  • Physical capability to perform duties in diverse conditions.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
