Position Overview: We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Financial Operations Manager to become a vital member of our energetic finance team. The Financial Operations Manager will oversee all facets of financial administration, encompassing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This position is essential in maintaining the organization's financial well-being and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and supervise company budgets and forecasts to guarantee financial stability and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Establish and uphold internal controls to protect company assets and ensure precise financial reporting.
  • Coordinate audits and assist auditors in conducting annual assessments, ensuring all financial records and statements are accurate and complete.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance metrics, implementing enhancements as necessary.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to facilitate decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, cultivating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA designation is preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in financial management, ideally within manufacturing or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial planning, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
