Position Summary: We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Financial Controller to become a vital part of our energetic finance department. The Financial Controller will take charge of all facets of financial oversight, encompassing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This position is essential in maintaining the company's fiscal health and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for executive management and external parties.
- Formulate and track company budgets and forecasts to guarantee financial stability and strategic direction.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and international financial regulations and standards.
- Establish and uphold internal controls to protect company assets and guarantee precise financial reporting.
- Coordinate audits and assist auditors during annual reviews, ensuring all financial documents and statements are accurate and comprehensive.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance metrics, implementing enhancements as necessary.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to aid in decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA certification is preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in financial management, ideally within manufacturing or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial planning, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, global environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
