Job Summary

We are seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Scientist or Geologist to join our team in East Windsor, NJ. This role will involve a mix of office and field work, with a focus on environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks. The successful candidate will assist Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing tasks, and will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks
  • Conduct fieldwork, including soil, groundwater, and/or vapor sampling
  • Prepare subcontracts and oversee the work of subcontractors
  • Write and prepare technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
  • Perform office work, including task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file reviews, proposal writing, project strategy development, schedule and budget management, and establishment of subcontracts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field (i.e., environmental science, physical science)
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science degree in Geology or closely related field
  • Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training
