We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and scheduling maintenance activities of automated processing equipment, ensuring all equipment functions at peak performance, and performing preventive maintenance measures and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and assign workflow of maintenance team
  • Assess team work performance and identify areas of optimization opportunities
  • Implement and maintain new CMMS work order & spare parts inventory system
  • Participate in daily team meetings
  • Meet and/or exceed business goals, deadlines, and performance standards
  • Train and onboard new hires
  • Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical aspects of all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on-site, including conveyor systems, sortation, and scale as needed
  • Supervise and schedule basic building and equipment repairs
  • Demonstrate mechanical proficiency for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, AC/DC electrical motors, drives, and general mechanical tasks
  • Troubleshoot various electrical circuits and related electronic equipment, using tools such as multi-meters
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all departments and levels of the organization
  • Monitor and enforce required safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Permit, etc.
  • Adhere to and enforce local, state, and federal code and OSHA requirements
  • Supervise outside contractors performing routine preventative maintenance and emergency service calls
  • Weekend/off-shift work as needed to support maintenance of material handling equipment with additional compensation
  • Carry out additional projects/tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • 5 years of previous experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team, preferably in a distribution center facility
  • Knowledge of electrical motors and circuits
  • High level of overall mechanical repair knowledge and experience with conveyor systems, and the ability to perform repairs when needed
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting MMEH and its peripherals
  • Spare parts and tool inventory management, equipment maintenance, and basic computer skills required
  • Advanced time management and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to communicate with all team members
  • Deal with sensitive information and/or issues using discretion
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 25 lbs. as necessary for the role
