The Lead Operations Strategist will be an integral part of the leadership team in our operational facilities. We currently have multiple opportunities available:

What You'll Do

  • Assume comprehensive accountability and ownership of fulfillment center operations, focusing on safety, employee engagement, collaboration, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster robust, trusting relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership, identifying avenues for enhancing fulfillment center operations.
  • Establish and maintain a strong safety culture that consistently seeks to mitigate risks within the operation.
  • Exhibit a commanding senior presence, leading and developing a team of high-performing operations managers and supervisors.
  • Drive the creation of quality initiatives, process enhancement projects, and other Lean initiatives to empower their functional area and the fulfillment center to meet and surpass business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with various groups across the company, including transportation, network management, S&OP, data integration, employee engagement, inventory planning, engineering, and others to coordinate cross-functional projects.
  • Monitor and propel key performance metrics to ensure we deliver an outstanding customer experience and fulfill our commitments.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative tools, processes, and technologies that enhance our teams' efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support operational strategy and innovation to drive business goals related to revenue, operational performance, and profitability.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow-through.
  • Establish sound process improvement initiatives that drive continuous improvement and streamline daily operations.
  • Regularly communicate performance trends and enhancements to the organization.
What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, supply chain, operations, or logistics.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams or organizations of 30 or more.
  • Experience with complex operational, process, and performance improvement projects (Lean or Six Sigma experience is highly valued), including process mapping and redesign.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety as a core value rather than a mere priority.
  • A strong track record in leading quality initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across various regions.
  • A solid background in defect reduction, process improvement, manufacturing, or engineering, with an understanding of workflow and throughput in operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize diverse perspectives into a cohesive action plan.
  • Proven ability as a passionate, people-centric leader who can effectively drive results in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial self-starter capable of managing and prioritizing projects while delegating tasks appropriately.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cultivating a culture of Continuous Improvement for processes and operations.
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to gather and interpret data to develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
  • Technologically adept, collaborative, and confident leader, with familiarity with Google Suite products being a plus.
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
