The Operations Supervisor for the Distribution Center will be tasked with overseeing productivity and material logistics within the Cranbury, NJ facility. In this capacity, you will monitor all operational activities and ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Our Cranbury distribution center operates 24/5, necessitating flexibility in work hours based on operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and/or direct various projects as assigned by the Director.
  • Develop and mentor current and new Department Managers.
  • Maintain open communication channels with all sales associates, branch staff, and distribution team members.
  • Enhance departmental goals monthly and ensure compliance with established KPIs.
  • Timely communicate corrective actions taken for issues or ongoing challenges.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of management protocols, practices, and tools.
  • Promote safety, quality, and profitability to meet or exceed organizational objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner within the leadership team and facilitate collaboration among departments to enhance operational outcomes.
  • Ensure efficient and successful warehouse operations.
  • Develop, revise, and optimize standard operating procedures.
  • Establish forums for identifying critical improvement opportunities within the warehouse.
  • Analyze business intelligence tools and explore potential enhancements for organizational visibility.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of management experience in a Distribution Center or Fulfillment Center environment is required.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or RF Warehouse operations is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities to effectively address urgent situations.
  • Process-oriented with sound judgment and decision-making skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a desire to lead a team.
  • Proficient technical skills, including familiarity with Microsoft O365 applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Epicor Eclipse (ERP) is a plus.
