Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Sports Marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and maintaining strategic business partnerships that directly impact our revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic business partnerships with key clients to drive revenue growth
  • Work closely with the Activation Team to build a positive culture within the department, emphasizing relationships, revenue, and rewards
  • Implement all contractual assets, including in-market and in-arena activations, digital and social media campaigns, hospitality and community programs
  • Partner with internal departments, such as game entertainment, facilities, marketing, creative services, community relations, and ticket sales, to execute activation plans
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team and direct leadership on strategic campaigns aligned with client business and marketing objectives
  • Execute season-end recap presentations, including ROI measurements, statistics, imagery, and video
  • Lead recommendations on partner renewal strategies based on best practices, season successes, and areas of opportunity
  • Support Senior Account Managers and Account Managers in executing various components of their key global accounts
  • Execute and delegate game-day responsibilities as needed
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience in the sports/entertainment industry and/or account management, including partnership marketing, brand marketing, event marketing, or team/agency experience
  • Experience in strategic multi-faceted digital and brand marketing campaigns
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver's license and meet company vehicle driving standards
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business, sports marketing, and/or sports management
  • Strong organizational skills, collaboration, ability to prioritize projects, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; proficiency in KORE-CRM preferred
