Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Partnership Taxation Specialist to enhance our expanding tax division. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your taxation expertise to deliver compliance and advisory services to entities structured as partnerships or LLCs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive advice on partnership tax services, including planning, research, compliance, allocations, and transactional activities.
- Support business development initiatives and identify tax issues for existing clients.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Manage client needs related to tax services and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships.
- Stay informed on current tax practices and legislative changes.
- Offer industry insights and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Commerce or Accounting (B-Com/BBA & M-Com/MBA).
- Enrolled Agent status is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate federal tax compliance and consulting, with a focus on partnership taxation for at least 5 years.
- Familiarity with S-Corps or Partnerships/LLCs is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven ability to build sustainable client relationships while managing multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of tax codes and compliance requirements.
- Experience with tax research tools and technology is advantageous.
