Job Overview
NVTS Night Vision Technology Solutions LLC is a veteran-owned enterprise specializing in the design and production of advanced night vision equipment for military applications. We are currently looking for a proficient Assembly and Inventory Technician to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to our clients.

Role Responsibilities
The Assembly and Inventory Technician will be tasked with assembling, testing, and troubleshooting various electro-mechanical systems. This position also involves managing physical inventory, conducting inspections of incoming materials, and performing basic diagnostics to identify and rectify technical issues.

Key Duties Include:

  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble electro-mechanical systems following detailed work instructions. Conduct functional tests on assembled systems to confirm they meet established performance criteria. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of physical inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials. Conduct regular inventory audits and collaborate with the team to address discrepancies.
  • Incoming Material Inspection: Inspect incoming materials to verify quality and quantity, documenting any non-conformities or defects.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools to perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics, working with engineering teams to develop solutions for complex issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of test results, inventory levels, and inspection outcomes. Prepare reports on production and quality metrics for management review.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; military technician training, technical certification, or an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in assembly, inventory management, and quality inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and components.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
