Position Summary:

The role involves the disassembly, cleaning, sandblasting, and reassembly of valves and components. Responsibilities include conducting pressure tests on assembled valves and utilizing equipment for the rework process. The position requires assembling various product lines using a range of tools while ensuring all operations are performed safely and in accordance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble valves and components provided by customers following operational guidelines and Quality Assurance protocols.
  • Prepare components for assembly based on technical drawings and verbal instructions.
  • Assemble components for pressure testing using appropriate bench assembly tools and methods.
  • Handle documentation, material tagging, packing lists, and transfer requirements to traveler sheets.
  • Present assembled products for inspection and accurately log all necessary data in the computer system.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure equipment is in good condition, adhering to operational procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards, which may involve travel to service locations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Starting pay rate is $22 per hour.
