Job Overview

We are currently in search of a proficient Assembly and Inventory Technician to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities
The Assembly and Inventory Technician will undertake the following tasks:

  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble a range of electro-mechanical systems in accordance with detailed work instructions. Conduct thorough functional tests on completed systems to confirm adherence to performance specifications. Diagnose and rectify system malfunctions, implementing necessary repairs.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain precise physical inventory records of components, parts, and finished goods. Ensure appropriate storage and handling practices for materials. Conduct regular inventory audits and collaborate with the team to address any discrepancies.
  • Incoming Material Inspection: Perform inspections on incoming materials to verify both quality and quantity. Document and report any defects or non-conformities.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to conduct basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, identifying and resolving issues with components and systems. Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to devise solutions for complex and recurring challenges.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of testing outcomes, inventory levels, and inspection results. Prepare reports on production and quality metrics for management review.

Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; military technician training, technical certification, or an associate degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in assembly, inventory oversight, and quality inspection.
  • A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and components.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Exhibit manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
