Job Title: Head of Business Development

LaSalle Network is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our business development efforts and drive growth strategy for our wealth management firm. As the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our client base and expand partnerships with institutions and individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue growth, enhance market presence, and increase Assets Under Management (AUM)
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional clients, leading efforts in client onboarding and ensuring long-term client retention through exceptional service
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial planners, accountants, estate attorneys, and other professionals who can refer potential clients
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to adapt business development strategies and stay ahead of market shifts
  • Lead the business development team, providing mentorship, setting targets, and driving performance, collaborating with marketing, operations, and investment teams to align on overall company objectives
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and establish a strong market presence
  • Leverage modern technology platforms to improve business development processes, track leads, and provide clients with a seamless, high-touch experience
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of business development initiatives and ensure alignment with the firm's growth goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in BD, client acquisition, or sales leadership
  • 5+ years' experience in the RIA, Financial Services, Venture Capital, or Investment Management space
  • Must have experience in a startup or high-growth environment
  • In-depth understanding of the wealth management industry, financial planning services, and regulatory requirements for RIAs
  • Proven ability to lead and scale a business development team, with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
  • Strong networking skills with a robust existing network of potential clients, financial professionals, and industry influencers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making and refine growth strategies
