About the Role

Marcus Evans, a global business intelligence and event marketing company, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team. As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in helping companies better their business through corporate meetings with targeted customers at exclusive B2B events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation: building and maintaining a robust prospecting pool.
  • Contacting, qualifying, and engaging prospects through email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
  • Negotiating and closing contracts with C-level decision makers by learning about their growth goals and converting that intelligence into business opportunities.
  • Keeping an organized record of sales activity and pipeline.
  • Working with new and existing clients.
  • Traveling to destination cities nationwide to attend events and tend to clients.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • The confidence to go head-to-head with industry leaders along with the humility to know that there's always more to learn.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and willingness to tackle prospecting and sales goals every day.
  • Self-starter mentality with good work ethic and a positive can-do attitude.
